Mail a completed registration form and fee/s to the school OR drop it off at the school office or in mail slot at the front entrance (mail slot is located to the left of the front doors of the church main entrance, on the side of the building). June 14 – 25 : Crawly Creatures
Ages: 4 – 6
$320 to 1pm / $370 to 3pm
This camp will be geared around the important role that small creatures play in our world. We will explore the life of bugs through story, movement and art! As a group we will take care of Stick Bugs and Preying Mantises. We will look closely at the life cycles of dragon flies and butterflies.

June 28- July 9: Little Red & Big Rad Wolf
Ages: 4 – 10
$320 to 1pm / $370 to 3pm

“Who’s afraid of the big bad wolf, the big bad wolf, the big bad wolf?”
This timeless tale will be magically transformed into a theatrical musical production with a cast of characters, including the Wise Gnomes, the Dreamy Flowers and more! Together we will create a fabulous musical play to be performed on the last day of camp. Each child will have a chance to explore the different roles of the theatre, from singing and acting, to set painting, costume design and instrumental accompaniment.

July 12 – July 23: River Camp
Ages: 4 – 6
$320 to 1pm / $370 to 3pm

“The River she is flowing, flowing and growing, the River she is flowing, down to the sea. Mother carry me your child I will always be. Mother carry me, down to the sea.”
In River Camp we will be making a river for the play yard. Story & circle will focus on the importance of living in harmony with mother earth & discovering the kinds of creatures that live in and around a river. Projects will include creation of river, felting river rocks, making dream catchers and painting a tipi.

July 12 – July 23: Nature Awareness/Japanese
Ages: 6 - 11
$320 to 1pm / $370 to 3pm

Learn Owl Eye, Deer Ear, and Fox walk, Listen for bird language… The Book of Nature opens to us as we activate our own senses. We will have fun Nature Awareness activities in the morning and Japanese activities in the afternoon, such as calligraphy, Japanese card games, cooking, and crafts.

July 26 – August 6: Little Red Hen & the live chickens
Ages: 4 – 6
$320 to 1pm / $370 to 3pm

We will be caring for the newest members of the Greenwood Yard, Chickens! We will be finding out who will help us make our bread as we get ready for a performance of the tale at the end of the two weeks. We will be baking bread to take home weekly, egg decorating/felting & sewing little chickens.

July 26 – August 6: Nature Awareness/Marimba
Ages: 6 - 11
$320 to 1pm / $370 to 3pm

Learn Owl Eye, Deer Ear, and Fox walk, Listen for bird language… The Book of Nature opens to us as we activate our own senses. We will have fun Nature Awareness activities in the morning and learn to play the marimba in the afternoon. We will form a marimba ensemble in Zimbabwean style.

Aug 9 – Aug 20: Knot Camp
Ages: 4 – 6
$320 to 1pm / $370 to 3pm

We will explore many ways to tie knots & braid. Each knot we learn will come with a little story as to how it’s made like…”in through the front door, round about the back, out through the window and off jumps Jack!” as is used in knitting. Projects will include knot tying, hemp braiding & pioneering knots used to build structures which we will use to build a fort or bridge.

Aug 9 – Aug 20: Art Camp
Ages: 6 - 11
$320 to 1pm / $370 to 3pm

Art is important to the development of all children. In Art camp we will be working together and separately. We will do a collaborative mural painting for the new location using water color. We will also do some outdoor willow sculpting as a group. During the last week we will display our group projects and have an art show!

Aug 23 – Aug 27: Little Woolie Camp
Ages: 4 – 6
$160 to 1pm / $185 to 3pm

We will use freshly sheered, washed, carded & dyed sheep’s wool to make different felted projects. Story and circle time will introduce a little girl and her little sheep named Pearl.

Aug 23 – Aug 27: Amigos y Moras – Spanish Immersion
Ages: 6 - 11
$160 to 1pm / $185 to 3pm

"Amigos y Moras" which is “Friends and Blackberries" in Spanish. This camp will involve many activities surrounding blackberries, like gathering, baking, art, fabric dying, and lots of fun with friends. We have a special Spanish speaking friend who will assist, which will make it as close to an immersion experience as possible.
