The Tacoma Waldorf School’s Early Childhood and Grades Morning and Afternoon Care program offers a safe environment where children will find holistic childhood playtime. It is available to children enrolled in our Preschool, Kindergarten and Grade School.
Old-fashioned but ageless indoor activities such as string games, crafts, board games, drawing, reading, and dynamic outdoor activities such as jump-roping, hula-hooping, and various tag games are part of our daily routine.
We offer options for families needing Morning Care as well as Afternoon Care. Our Early Childhood Care program is a licensed program for children ages 3 to 6 years old while our Grades Care program is for children 6 years old and older.
- Morning Care is available from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., Monday – Friday
- Afternoon Care is available from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
Child Care will also be available during winter break (first week only), mid-winter break, spring break and during parent/teacher conferences. During these dates child care will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
UPDATE September 6, 2017: Currently we do not have a start date for our Early Childhood Morning and Afternoon Care program. If your child is 5 years old AND in kindergarten they may temporarily sign up for the Grades Morning and Afternoon Care program.
